Dredging and Marine Design and Permitting
- Volusia County Beach and Dune Restoration (via INTERA-Coastal Tech joint venture). South Project – Offloading of Rattlesnake Island to place sand from Sapphire Road to 5205 S. Atlantic Ave. in New Smyrna Beach.
- Volusia County Beach and Dune Restoration (via INTERA-Coastal Tech joint venture). North Project – Beneficial use by restoring the dunes north of Ponce Inlet using sand dredged by the USACE from the ICW and Ponce Inlet as a beneficial reuse project.
- Brevard County – POW/MIA Boat Ramp Dredging Project. Dredging a new access channel from the ICW to the existing Boat Ramp. Replace the Boat Ramp accessory docks.
- Indian River County – Sector 4 Dune Restoration Project – Dune restoration using sand from an upland sand mine.
- Indian River County Sector 7 Beach and Dune Restoration Project. Beach and dune restoration using sand dredged from an offshore borrow area.
- Lucie County Coastal Storm Risk Management Project (Beach Nourishment Offshore Borrow Area). Beach and dune restoration using sand dredged from an offshore borrow area.
- Santa Rosa County Navarre Beach Nourishment Project (Beach Nourishment Offshore Borrow Area). Beach and dune restoration using sand dredged from an offshore borrow area.
Site Development
- Volusia County – Smyrna Dunes Walkway #3. Replacement of beach access stairs destroyed by beach and dune erosion.
- Volusia County – Bethune Beach Park. Seawall repair and installation of a concrete walkway.
- City of Vero Beach – Live Like Cole Fishing Pier. A new fishing pier within the lagoon.
- City of Vero Beach – Conn Beach Boardwalk Repair Project. Replacement of a ¼ mile long oceanfront boardwalk reusing the majority of the existing posts.
- City of Vero Beach Humiston Boardwalk CCCL Permitting. Replacement of a concrete boardwalk. Coastal Tech is performing the CCCL permitting services.
- City of Vero Beach – Dune Overwalk at Bahia Mar Drive. Replacement of beach access stairs.
- Santa Rosa County – Navarre Park – Post-Sally Restoration Project. Repair of a fishing pier, walkway, and electrical system damaged by Hurricane Sally.
- Santa Rosa County – Navarre Park – Music Playground. Installation of a playground feature which required minor grading and a stormwater swale authorized by FDEP.
Seawall design and construction administration
- Volusia County – Mallard, Egret, and Heron Seawall and Dune Overwalk. New seawalls and beach access stairs installed at three separate County right of ways.
- Volusia County – Matthew’s Avenue Seawall and Dune Overwalk. A seawall and dune overwalk installed at a County right of way.
- Brevard County – Long Point Park revetment. A rip rap revetment installed at the County’s park. This project included placement of sand fill to repair the shoreline to pre-storm conditions to allow the County to maintain two camping sites which were lost to erosion.
- Brevard County – Fisherman’s landing dock and revetment. The replacement of a dock and installation of a new rip rap revetment at the County’s park.
- Ocean Club I, II, III – A steel sheet pile wall installed at a private condominium in Vero Beach.
Boat Ramp, floating dock, and similar projects
- Volusia County Smyrna Dunes Fishing Pier. A concrete pile fishing pier.
- Volusia County Vehicle Beach Access Ramps (El Portal, Florida Shores, River Beach, Seaview, 27th Avenue Temporary, 27th Avenue Permanent). Vehicle beach access ramps with associated site civil improvements at multiple County right of ways.
- Johns County Vehicle Beach Access Ramp at Porpoise Point. A new vehicle beach access ramp.
- Brevard County – Christensons Landing Boat Ramp. A new boat ramp, paved parking area, stormwater system, and associated site civil improvements.
- Brevard County – Port St. John Boat Ramp. The repair of fixed docks, installation of a rip rap revetment, and re-striping of a parking lot in response to a storm event.
- Indian River County Boat Ramp Siting Study. A study to determine if land exists (a) owned by the County, or (b) potentially available to be purchased by the County for a new boat ramp.
- City of Vero Beach – Riverside Boat Ramp. A new concrete floating dock & vinyl seawall.
- City of Vero Beach Municipal Marina Dry Storage Building. A new dry storage building, parking area, stormwater system, and other associated site civil improvements.
- Santa Rosa County – Oriole Beach Boat Ramp. The replacement of an existing boat ramp, new paved parking, & a stormwater system.
Other Services
- Santa Rosa County Post-Hurricane Sally FEMA Grant Processing. Assist the County with processing existing FEMA claims.
- Lucie County Anchor Limitation Area. Creation of a new County ordinance, study of County waterways to identify if and where an ALA may be appropriate, design/permitting of the aid to navigation markers.
- Lucie County Fort Pierce Inlet Spur Jetty Repair Project. Coastal Tech designed and permitted the Spur Jetty at the southern Jetty at Fort Pierce Inlet and has performed post-storm repair projects.
- Lucie County Post-Storm Emergency Services. Coastal Tech assisted the County with preparation of bid documents and review of bids for several services expected to be needed by the County in response to a future storm event. This allows the County to be able to engage a contractor quickly after storm vents with pre-negotiated rates.
