Amelia W. Fontaine, a Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) with over 18 years engineering & business management background, moved into role of President of Coastal Tech on March 1, 2024.

Her primary work encompasses management and support of Coastal and Water Resources projects, including specialties in site civil, stormwater and drainage systems design for governmental, commercial, and residential projects. She has been recognized as an expert in stormwater management and drainage design and has been lead, engineer of record or a primary designer on hundreds of projects throughout her career. Her experience includes significant emphasis on full team and client collaboration from project development through closeout.

Amelia is a Certified Floodplain Manager (CFM) by Association of State Floodplain Managers, Florida Department of Environmental Protection (FDEP) Qualified Stormwater Management Inspector and an Alumni of Leadership Indian River County- Chamber of Commerce, 2015. She obtained a Bachelor of Science, Civil Engineering, from University of Florida in May 2006, Master of Engineering, Civil Engineering, University of Florida in August 2008 and State of Florida PE Licensure in January 2011.

She a native of Vero Beach, FL, where she currently resides.
